Cougar Volleyball Punches State Ticket

The Central Valley Cougar Volleyball Team punched their ticket to the NSAA State Volleyball Tournament on Saturday evening. The (#10) seeded Cougars defeated the (#7) Maywood-Hayes Center Wolves, 3 sets to none, in the District Final match held at Kearney High School.

Central Valley will now move on to play in the first round of the State Volleyball Championships on Thursday, November 7 at 1:30 PM at Lincoln Southeast High School (40th and Van Dorn). This marks the very first state tournament appearance since forming Central Valley.

Doors will open at Lincoln Southeast for fan access 1 hour prior to the match. Fans will all enter the facility on the north side of the building, and Cougar fans will occupy the west bank of bleachers. Admission is $9.00 for adults and $6.00 for students.

Congratulations girls, and good luck at state!
