Central Valley will hit the road to take on the Fremont Mills Knights in an undefeated match-up this Friday, October 9, 2020. The game will be played in Tabor, IA at Fremont Mills Community Schools with kick off at 5:30 PM. Central Valley will dismiss the elementary school at 1:00 PM and the high school at 1:30 PM on Friday so fans who would like to attend are able to do so.

Currently there are no limitations on the number of fans, but updates on mask requirements, seating locations etc. will be sent/posted later in the week. Fans are asked to be respectful of any restrictions that may be put into place by the host school! All schools are doing their best to keep their students in attendance and athletes in competition. Your help is needed!

COVID-19 has dismantled schedules in all sports across the state this fall forcing schools to make cancellations. Each week a list of "replacement games" is published by the NSAA allowing schools that have lost games on their schedule to replace them with games against other teams on the list. These games are then played as exhibition games only and are not counted on either teams schedule, and do not affect the teams wildcard points.

Central Valley is using this game to avoid a large gap in the schedule after a cancellation last week vs Chambers/Wheeler Central, and this weeks regularly scheduled bye-week.

The Cougars will close the regular season next week with Humphrey St. Francis in Wolbach. The first round of playoffs begin on Thursday, October 22.

Good luck Cougars, and safe travels for all fans attending the game in Tabor!
