Wildlife and Natural Resource students toured a pheasant farm today. They helped gather eggs, remove blinders and release birds. Thank you Jeanine Killinger for donating eggs for our incubator and sharing your knowledge and industry expertise!


English 10 students just finished reading My Antonia by Nebraska author Willa Cather. They celebrated by hosting an immigrant-inspired feast of authentic dishes from 7 countries featured in the novel.




Beginning this week. There will no longer be early dismissals on Wednesdays due to days missed because of weather. Elementary will dismiss at 3:30 PM and High School at 3:45 PM.

Parents of Juniors: Prom meal information is being sent home today. Please call me with any questions or concerns. We will have Tuesday, April 23, to work the whole day. Any junior with missing work or on the down’s list will not be allowed to participate that day. If you have items to donate for the meal and they don’t need refrigerated, you can send them with your child anytime. Otherwise, I will be in contact with you when and where you can drop off your other meal items. Thank you for your help.
Spring Sports Pictures will begin tomorrow at 1:00 PM. Please make sure your student remembers their picture form and uniforms! If they don't have a form they can bring money and get one tomorrow.

The English 11 class reenergized their study of The Great Gatsby by hosting a Gatsby party yesterday. The kids were in charge of food, decor, and entertainment! They even hand-churned ice cream!




Health Science students went to the Backstage Pass at UNK/UNMC. Many hands-on experiences to help them find their passions!
