The CVE students got to take on the CVE staff in dodgeball today because the students not only met but exceeded their quarter one Cougar Point goal by an incredible 17,000 points! This truly reflects their commitment to being safe, respectful, and responsible members of our school community. The staff just barely beat the kindergarten-3rd grade students, but fell short to the 4th-6th grade students. Way to go, Cougar Nation!
The Lady Cougars win a 5 set thriller over Riverside to advance to the Conference Tournament Championship! CV will face the winner of Nebraska Christian and Archangels. Championship game time is 2:30 pm in Elba!

It was a great morning to be a Central Valley Cougar! The high school football, volleyball, cross country, dance, and cheer teams celebrated the 1st quarter AR goal achievement party with the elementary students today. The students enjoyed dancing, drawing, and playing games. Great job, Cougars!🐾🐾🐾
There will be a Flu Shot Clinic Thursday, Oct. 24. They will be at the Wolbach School from 8:30am-9:30am, at the Elementary from 10:00am-12:00pm and at the High School from 1:00pm-3:00pm. Parent consent forms are available in the school offices.

The Central Valley Junior High Scholastic Team competed at Spalding Academy on October 15th. The Quiz Bowl Team took home the 2nd place trophy, Drex Dugan won first place in the English competition, and Taylor Rosander won third place in the Spelling Competition. Mrs. Sarah Hansen coaches the team.

Today at 1:05pm, CV Jr./Sr. High conducted a Lockdown Drill. All students and staff responded appropriately. These types of drills are important to practice common norms to help assist students and staff with safety preparedness given the unlikely event of an emergency at school.
Central Valley Jr./Sr. High School conducted a fire drill this morning at 10:50am. All systems worked properly. Students and staff performed drill protocols well.
