The FFA students brought Barnyard Day to the elementary school today, and our kids absolutely loved it! Students had a great time learning about and interacting with the animals. The day concluded with an FFA orientation for our 6th graders in the library. Thank you so much, FFA students!

Today, our CV preschoolers and their families joined in the adventure of One Book, One School with a special One and Only Ivan celebration! Mr. Carlson read the Ivan picture book to the group, and then students and their families enjoyed some hands-on Ivan-themed activities together. Way to go, little readers!
Thanks to the recent snowfall, the elementary students were finally able to enjoy their Quarter 2 classroom AR reward sledding party! And it looks like we had just enough snow to make the day fun for all. Great job, kids, for reaching your Quarter 2 classroom AR goals!

Today brought a fun surprise at CVE. The One and Only Ivan delivered bananas to every classroom for their fruit break as part of our One Book, One School celebration! Teachers are well into the story with their students at this point, and everyone is enjoying the fun so far. The conversations happening in classrooms have been great to see.
