The CV Lady Cougars are in action at the Thayer Central Volleyball Invitational this Saturday! This year will include a JV Invite as well. First Varsity game is at 10:00 am vs Milford and first JV game is at 12:00. Good luck Cougars!
SCHEDULE CHANGE: The varsity volleyball triangular on Tuesday, October 14th will be played at Grand Island Lutheran High School (formerly Heartland Lutheran High School).
The Jr. High Volleyball games today will be played in Cedar Rapids beginning at 4:00pm
It was Pizza with the Principal today at CVE! So proud of our August/September Star Student winners. They worked on COURAGE all month, and it has been amazing to see them showing it in so many ways. Our K–2 students had a wonderful time at Helgoth’s Pumpkin Patch yesterday, and the weather made it an absolutely perfect day for the trip!

Reilly brings Ireland’s stories, songs, and spirit to life through his music. From ancient myths and Gaelic ballads to original folk songs, Reilly connects past and present with powerful storytelling. Based in Michigan, he performs worldwide, teaches workshops, and shares Ireland’s cultural heritage with audiences of all ages.

The Wolbach Fire Department & EMTs will be hosting a Steak Feed on Friday, Sept. 19 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Wolbach Community Center. The Loup City Cross Country Invite will be ran at the Loup City Golf Course today at 5:30 pm, not at Sherman Reservoir as previously scheduled. Good luck Cougars!

The bracket for the Lexington Volleyball Invite has been released! The Lady Cougars will face Broken Bow in the 3rd match of the day. Matches 1 and 2 will begin at 10:00 am. Games will run on a rolling schedule from that point, starting approximately 15-20 mins following the previous match. No passes will be accepted at this tournament.
The Lady Cougars will face Anselmo-Merna at 11:00 am tomorrow in the first round of the Overton Invitational. No passes will be accepted at the gate. Games in the north gym will be livestreamed, games in the south gym will not be livestreamed. Good luck Cougars!

Our 3rd–6th graders had a wonderful day today at the Nebraska State Fair! Students explored exhibits, connected learning to real-world experiences, and had plenty of fun along the way. A big thank you to our staff members and parent volunteers for helping make this day possible!
