Correction to a previous message, Elementary hours are 8:15 AM to 3:30 PM!

Reminder: 5-6th Grade Football, if you have not already, pad fitting tonight at 5:45 at the Riverside shop building in Spalding, east of the caboose!

Reminder the first day of school is a FULL day at both the Elementary (8:00-3:30) and High School (8:00-3:45) sites! Normal Wednesday early-outs will start the following week!

Last day of summer was busy for these hard working students. Thank you to Terry Wood and Jodie Wood (and their helpers) for the tour and demonstrations of our emergency vehicles and facility.



Shuttle Leave Times for the 19-20 School Year have been posted at centralvps.org under the "News" section! They can also be found on the CV Facebook Page! Parents with rural route students will be contacted by their drivers early next week!

Central Valley Elementary open house Monday, Aug. 12. Meal from 5-6 PM followed by K-6th informational meeting. Please bring your school supplies to leave in the classroom!

Elementary Open House Monday, Aug 12th 5:00-6:00pm. Students may bring school supplies to drop off in their classrooms. A meal will be provided by TeamMates. There will be a meeting at 6:00 in the gym.

The CV PTO needs your help! Class chairpersons will be calling for volunteers for Popcorn Days. If your child attends CV, you ARE a member of the PTO! Check out our FB page for more info about how the PTO supports our students.

CV 5th and 6th Grade Football Team pad and uniform fitting and check out will be Monday, August 5 at 4:30 in Spalding in the bus barn, east of the caboose. Denny Bernt will be there to assist. If you cannot make it or you have questions, please contact Andrea Wolf at 308–219–0210.

FFA officers spent the day growing as leaders, setting goals for the chapter, developing activities and serving at a summer lunch program! We are excited to start school year!




The FCCLA Blood Drive will be held at the CV Auditorium today from 9:00-3:00!


Mrs. Reynolds is looking for volunteers to help with Rachel Fox's benefit this Friday, August 2nd supervising bounce houses. The benefit is from 4pm to midnight with bounce houses from 4-8. You CAN earn community service hours for graduation. Call Mrs. Reynolds 402-968-7304.

Central Valley Speech coach, Karen Reynolds and One Act Director, Rachel Fox attended Workshops on Tuesday and Wednesday at NSAA offices in Lincoln. There they met the Director of NSAA Jay Bellar along with the new Play Production and Speech NSAA Director Jeff Stauss.


PWG Juniors defeat Louisville-Weeping Water by a score of 9-6 to advance to the State Championship game tomorrow at 5:00 pm. GO DUCKS!!!!

Reminder sports physicals need to be completed by August 12th. Athletes cannot start fall practice without them!

The parking lots in Greeley and Scotia are being painted on Thursday, July 25. Please no parking in the west parking lot in Greeley and the parking lot in Scotia all day.
