Tonight is the final performance of ALADDIN! Dinner for the cast will be served at 4:30 pm. Cast pictures will be at 5:30 pm. Mic check at 6 pm. Doors open at 6:30 pm and the show is at 7 pm. Thank you to everyone who has supported this show in big and small ways. It is ALL so greatly appreciated!

The countdown is on! Aladdin will be presented tomorrow night and Saturday night at 7 pm at the auditorium!! A huge thank you to all the parents who have sent food for the cast this past week. The meal provided by our wonderful parents tonight is at 5:30 pm. It would be appreciated if parents could drop off food donations for tonight's dinner by 5 pm. We also are on need of bottled water for the next couple days, so would welcome water donations as well. 😊 Tonight is full dress rehearsal ~ please bring your colored t-shirt, proper footwear, etc. Rehearsal will last until about 9 pm tonight. We look forward to seeing everyone at the show!!

It was pancakes with the principal today at CVE. So proud of our March Cougar Community Recognition staff and Star Student winners. As always, thank you so much to the Central Valley PTO for providing the goodies, to Mrs. Julia Wood for setting everything up, and to Mr. Tom for flipping up the pancakes. Reminder that tonight is ALADDIN dress rehearsal for all cast, crew and middle school choir from 6-9. Full costumes and mics tonight! The PTO will be providing a meal. Message Ms.Baker if you have questions.

Great work, CVE's March Cougar Community Recognition winners! Our Star Student winners did an awesome job of working on RESPECT all month long. Special thank you to Mrs. Angie Boyce, Mrs. Whitney Wurst, Mrs. Jeni Leth, Mrs. Lori Edwards, and Mrs. Chris Salber for their commitment and dedication to making Cougar Nation the very best! This is a reminder that Aladdin rehearsal is this morning from 9 AM to 12 PM at the auditorium. Students who are in middle school choir only do not need to attend unless they have been cast in other roles. Rehearsal for the whole cast, crew and choir will be tomorrow night and Thursday night from 6 to 9 PM. Please contact Miss Baker if you have questions or need clarification.

This is a clarification regarding Aladdin T-shirts. The purple Aladdin t-shirts being ordered from the Ord Quiz are optional and NOT a requirement for students in the show. These are just a "souvenir" from the show if you want one. Also, if you missed ordering a T-shirt this first time around, we will be setting up a second round of orders. Students that are in choir and/or part of the village of Agrabah are asked to wear either a red, yellow, pink, green, purple, orange or blue solid colored shirt to go with their costume. If this is not possible, let Ms. Baker know and we will supply one for you. Feel free to contact her if you have questions.

Aladdin Reminders: Rehearsal today for “Aladdin” will be from 3-8 pm today. Due to the religious holiday, it is understood that students may only be able to attend a portion of rehearsal today with family or church events going on. However, it is encouraged for students to rehearse as much as possible today, especially main characters. The PTO will begin serving dinner for the cast at 4:30 pm. Other reminders: COSTUMES: Costumes are provided for the students for the most part. However, if possible, students in the choir need to wear a plain short sleeved shirt with no writing. The color needs to be red, yellow, pink, green, orange or blue. If a student is not able to get a shirt with one of these colors, please let Ms. Baker know. Since the setting of the musical is in the desert, students may wear flip flops or sandals. Main characters doing a lot of running or dancing in the show need to wear black flats or tennis shoes. Color depends on their costume. Ask Ms. Baker if you’re not sure. Also, students will need to have their hair pulled back and away from their face. Students may do their own stage makeup if they know how, otherwise we will have a crew to help. ALADDIN T-SHIRT orders are due today!! With the garden season right around the corner, CV FFA invites you to purchase your plant items at our annual plant sale on SATURDAY, MAY 6th from 10 am-4 pm! We have several types of flowers (Petunias, Begonias, Impatiens, Geraniums, and much more), Vegetables (Tomatoes, Peppers, Herbs, and much more), Ornamental Grasses, and Succulents! If you have any questions or have a certain item you would like, feel free to contact Mrs. Freeman via email or call the school.

We will work around schedule conflicts regarding the religious holiday Monday April 10th (No School) DRESS REHEARSAL-ALL CAST and CREW 9 a.m.-Noon Scenes 1-7 Tuesday April 11th DRESS REHEARSAL-ALL CAST and CHOIR 6:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. Scenes 7-11 Wednesday April 12th REHEARSAL ALL CAST (except choir) 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. (You will need to have makeup slips signed for this rehearsal. Come to the auditorium after you are finished with sports photos) Thursday April 13th REHEARSAL-ALL CAST Run through whole show Friday April 14th FINAL DRESS REHEARSAL FOR WHOLE SCHOOL K-12 Dismiss after lunch and get into costume for 1 p.m. show Friday night April 14th OPENING NIGHT!! 7 p.m. show Saturday night April 15th FINAL SHOW 7 p.m.

SCHEDULE UPDATE: The Junior High track meet at Osceola on Thursday will start at 10:00 am. Bus will depart Scotia at 7:05 am, Greeley at 7:20 am and Wolbach at 7:45 am.
